Participating on various activities that challenge them, people are supported to reach their full potential. Activities incorporate arts and crafts, health and wellbeing, fitness gardening and horticulture. * As the Service Lead, you’ll take responsibility for supporting the staff and the people they support. * Take responsibility for the development and implementation of systems and processes within the service * Ensuring through auditing that all documentation is up to date and is reflective of each individual’s needs * Dealing with any safeguarding * Work on new business opportunities for the service * Deputise in the absence of the Area Manager About you * You’ll need to be an experienced Deputy Manager / Supported Living Manager / Service Manager or similar within a service either a Day Centre / Supported Living / Residential Home or similar * You’ll be driven by a passion to deliver services for people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities that are truly-person centred and make a difference to people’s lives. * Ideally, you’ll hold QCF level 5 qualification in Leadership of Social Care but if not, as long as you are willing to work towards it, we can consider you. * You’ll be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of CQC standards, and legislation relevant to managing social care.
