The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours or sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £14.09 - £15.14
This is a temporary position until 31st March 2026.
It is a 52-week non-sessional post, including working during school holidays.
Days and hours of work:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday.
Hours are to be agreed, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours per day.
Start date: 13th August 2025.
Yester Primary School is a small school with 6 classes. We are seeking a caring and patient ASN to join our nursery team. The successful candidate will work in our Nursery, which operates 48 weeks a year from 8.15 am to 4.15 pm, Monday to Friday. The post involves working with a child four days a week, with some flexibility in hours to be discussed at interview.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Good general education.
Experience working with or caring for children with additional support needs.
Nursery Only:
SSSC registration is essential. If not already registered, you must apply within 3 months of starting.
PVG Membership
This role is a regulated position involving vulnerable groups, requiring PVG Scheme membership or update before employment.
Any disclosures on PVG checks will be discussed and investigated before formal job offers.
