Duties as a Business Studies Teacher:
* Plan, prepare and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum and relevant exam board specifications.
* Set, mark and assess classwork, homework and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support student progress.
* Use real-world case studies and current business trends to bring lessons to life and encourage critical thinking.
* Track and monitor pupil attainment, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents and senior leaders.
* Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum and collaborate with colleagues across the Social Sciences department.
* Organise or support enrichment opportunities such as enterprise clubs, guest speakers, or educational visits.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and whole-school events.
Ideal Business Studies Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies, with the ability to teach up to A-level.
* A passion for making business concepts practical and exciting for students.
* Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills as Business Studies Teacher.
