Accounts Technician Toomebridge We are currently working with a global organisation within the AV and technology sector who are seeking to appoint an Accounts Technician to join their Finance team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the finance function, supporting financial reporting, reconciliations and day-to-day accounting processes while working closely with senior finance leadership. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers broad exposure across transactional finance, management accounts support and financial reporting within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. What We Offer: Competitive salary (depending on experience) Opportunity to join a growing international business Exposure to both transactional finance and management accounting Involvement in systems development and finance projects Flexible / hybrid working available after probation Supportive finance team environment Long-term career development opportunities Key Responsibilities: Supporting balance sheet and control account reconciliations for monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes Processing sales and purchase invoices, payroll, expenses, bank receipts and payments Preparing statutory and compliance reports including VAT, PAYE, pensions and annual returns Posting journal entries and maintaining recurring journals and allocations Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting Supporting year-end audit preparation Working daily with Sage and internal finance systems while assisting with system improvements Who Were Looking For: 4+ years experience in an accounts or finance role Strong knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts, Sage Payroll and Excel Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail IATI qualification is desirable Experience working with multi-currency accounts would be advantageous If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please get in touch with Diarmuid for a confidential discussion.
