Overview
As a Head of Academy, you will be responsible for all aspects of the internal organisation, professional leadership, management, and control of the academy and for leading supervision over teaching and support staff.
Responsibilities
Successful applicants will play a key role in developing the curriculum and teaching and learning, ensuring that learners experience outstanding teaching and gain essential skills to act in their community. You will demonstrate a proven track record in delivering results within your own classroom and in developing and implementing new initiatives across phases or the whole school.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
Applicants will be considered based on skills, abilities, experience, knowledge, and qualifications, taking into account the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 where relevant.
Applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate and checks of the relevant barred list/prohibition lists, as part of safeguarding the welfare of students.
