Job Description:
SOC Analyst - Corsham- £640/day Umbrella - Shift Pattern - Onsite
We're currently supporting a major programme within a highly secure government environment and are looking for an experienced SOC Analyst to join a fast paced cyber security operations team.
This is a fully onsite role based in Corsham, working a shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends within a 24/7 operational environment.

Monitoring and triaging security events and incidents
Investigating and responding to cyber threats in real time
Supporting incident management from detection through to resolution
Working with SIEM technologies within an enterprise SOC environment
Creating and improving use cases, analytics and playbooks
Supporting continuous improvement across cyber operations
Requirements:
Proven experience operating within a Tier 2 or Tier 3 SOC environment
Strong hands on SIEM experience, ideally including configuration and engineering
Experience responding to and managing security incidents
Understanding of cloud technologies
Industry recognised cyber security certifications such as SANS or ISC2
Desirable:
Previous experience within defence or secure government environments
Experience mentoring or leading analysts
Technical or computing related degree
Additional Information:
Contract running until April 2027 with potential extension
Shift rotation averaging 37 hours per week
Fully onsite in Corsham
Candidates must be eligible to work within highly secure UK environments
