Stanford Real Estate Partners is currently seeking an experienced Partnerships Manager to join a well-known residential developer/housebuilder. This key role within the Development team is career-focused and offers a supportive environment that values its employees.
The Role
Reporting to the Partnerships Director and working within a small team, the successful candidate will:
1. Manage, assess, and report on the feasibility of new business opportunities presented by the development land team.
2. Collaborate with Technical, Commercial, Land Managers/Executives, and the Development Land lead to meet business growth targets.
3. Lead the preparation of bid invitations and supporting documentation with internal stakeholders.
4. Negotiate on larger, complex schemes with clients.
5. Prepare clear and concise board reports for presentation at Board meetings.
6. Provide advice on Local Authority policies, s106 requirements, RP development programs, and funding.
7. Work closely with Planning, Development, Land, and Technical teams to optimize schemes.
8. Support planning applications, s106 agreements, DoV, and Nomination requirements in collaboration with LA planning and housing departments.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with Local Planning Authorities, LA Housing officers, RPs, and Homes England.
10. Advise on Build Agreements and Contract selection within the group's terms of business.
11. Coordinate with Pre-Construction and Development teams to gather necessary information.
12. Negotiate land and build package deals or JCT standard forms for forward funding, Golden Brick, and turnkey solutions.
13. Work with Commercial, Construction, and Technical teams to agree on contract appendices or proposals.
