Chef - Nottingham
We're looking for a passionate and organised kitchen professional to lead from the front.
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards
* Design and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
* Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
* Monitor food stock, place orders, and manage inventory
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Control food costs and minimize waste
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or Cook
* Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Creativity and attention to detail
