Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Systems Accountant / Project Manager for a leading professional services firm in Manchester, which has experienced significant growth over the past decade.
The Role
1. Ensure that systems operate efficiently and effectively, supporting forecasting and financial reporting through robust and value-adding systems.
2. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for systems and reporting processes.
3. Provide training to maximize system utilization.
4. Develop enhancements to continually add value.
5. Implement a replacement financial system for Dimensions.
6. Ensure processes and procedures are documented, tested, and updated.
The ideal candidate will have an accounting background with significant experience in delivering improvement projects across finance and reporting systems, and the ability to lead projects and influence senior leadership.
Applicants from a similar systems accountant role within a professional services organization, holding an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), are preferred, but qualified individuals by experience will also be considered.
