We are seeking Trainee Teaching Assistants who are happy to travel across Sunderland to support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs. This role is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in education and gain hands-on experience in specialist settings. No formal TA qualification is required — this role suits candidates with backgrounds in care, youth work, sports coaching or similar. Key Responsibilities Support pupils during lessons and structured activities. Provide emotional and behavioural support. Assist teachers with classroom routines. Build positive relationships with pupils. Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times. Skills & Experience Genuine interest in working with children or young people.
