An exciting opportunity has arisen with on ward 2 Diabetes and endocrinology, and we are looking to recruit a Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse on a 4 month secondment. The successful candidate will be joining an established team who specialise in diabetes care and other acute medical conditions.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse with clinical experience, diabetes experience not necessary as training will be given. You will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and nursing care and have a passion for caring for adults with various medical conditions.
you will be working within a multidisciplinary team, as well as working with junior and newly qualified nurses, who require support and guidance.

Essential criteria
1. Current NMC Registration
2. Degree or Diploma in Nursing plus specialist experience/training
3. Evidence of personal and professional development
4. Up to date ILS and mandatory training
Knowledge

5. Ability to work within the boundaries of the NMC professional code of conduct
6. Commitment to evidence based practice
7. Ability to use initiative to make a decision within sphere of work and/or knowledge recognising where assistance is required
Experience
