We are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join our Public Sector Audit team in Birmingham.

A Look into the Role
As an Audit Assistant Manager within our Public Sector Audit service line, you will have:
* Excellent knowledge of NHS and local government financial reporting.
* Extensive experience using audit software and Microsoft packages.
* A genuine interest in our clients and the ability to discuss business challenges and needs confidently.
* An interest in maintaining and developing your technical knowledge to facilitate and lead valuable discussions with clients.
Knowing You’re Right for Us
Minimum criteria: a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post‑qualification experience and confidence managing a large audit portfolio. Desired (but not mandatory) skills include:
* Experience managing audits of public sector bodies and complex technical matters.
* Project management experience.
* Strong knowledge of NHS and local government financial reporting.
* Extensive audit software and Microsoft package experience.
