Electrician – Automotive
Location: Stoke on Trent (ST3)
Temporary to Permanent Vacancy
Key Responsibilities
* Automotive electricians install, inspect and repair electrical systems in various vehicles, including cars, trucks and agricultural equipment. This includes wiring, ignition systems, alarms and entertainment systems.
* Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, identifying faults in wiring and electronic components.
* Perform regular maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
* Gather information from customers regarding electrical issues and provide estimates for repairs, ensuring clear communication throughout the repair process.
* Complete job reports and process paperwork related to repairs and maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Clear proven experience in this field
* Electrician qualifications
* Extensive working knowledge in this field
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
* Early finish on Fridays
Salary
DOE PAYE, paid weekly. Statutory deductions for tax, NI and pension if not opted out apply.
