Project Engineering Manager
Join Babcock International Group as a Project Engineering Manager based in Andover, Hampshire with hybrid working arrangements.
Overview
As a Project Engineering Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring engineering governance, compliance and assurance across a range of defence‑related operations. You will work closely with senior leaders to guide engineering activity across multiple projects, helping to deliver safe, effective and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
* Apply engineering assurance to technical activities across multiple projects
* Develop and maintain Engineering Management Plans
* Support the management of technical risk and governance processes
* Create engineering documentation to support operational delivery
* Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to drive efficiency and innovation
Day‑to‑day
The role is based onsite in Andover with Monday to Friday working hours totalling 37 hours per week. Travel may be required as part of the role.
Essential Experience
* Deploying engineering governance into complex projects and programmes
* Excellent planning, coordination and organisational skills
* Proven collaborator in dynamic and fast‑paced environments
* Comfortable working to tight deadlines and schedules
* Committed to continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications
* Suitable experience in a relevant engineering field
* On the pathway to Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised engineering institute
Security Clearance
Successful candidates must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
