Junior Sous Chef – Burgess Hill
Package: Up to £40,000, 3 evenings off per week, 2.5 days off each week, 45–50 hours per week with strong work‑life balance (finish around 9:15 pm, early Sundays).
What you’ll be doing
* Support senior chefs with day‑to‑day kitchen operations
* Run sections and maintain high service standards
* Assist with menu development and daily specials
* Prepare and present fresh, seasonal dishes
* Support stock control, ordering and GP awareness
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience as a chef in a quality kitchen
* Strong background working with fresh, seasonal produce
* Passion for food and creative flair
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
* Excellent attention to detail and consistency
* Own transport required
