Some of the more typical day to day aspects of the role would include assembly and test of integrated subsea mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, building electronic system assemblies, calibrating, commissioning, and testing equipment. My client require people who are motivated to deliver high quality work and will integrate with the existing friendly team. Across all the engineering roles they need people with a keen interest in continuous learning, who will approach problem solving with an open mind, and enjoy technically challenging projects. You will be a key team member of a process which completes projects from concept through to delivery. Responsibilities You will have responsibility for the following: Assembly and commissioning of electromechanical products with an emphasis on the electrical and electronic aspects.Testing and quality control. Documentation of assembles and QC. PCB board assembly. Assembly of wiring looms and cables. Fault finding and investigations on existing products. Configuration of electronic hardware and modules. EssentialRelevant engineering degree, HNC or equivalent or a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.Competent at soldering wires and electronic components including surface mount.Working with single, three phase and low voltage systems.Good logical fault finding and repair skills.Safe use of handheld and power tools.Able to read electrical and electronic schematics.Detail focused individual.Ability to confidently work individually and within a team.Desire to learn and continually improve your knowledge.Excellent IT skills including use of Microsoft office products.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Eligible to work in the UK. Preferred PrerequisitesElectrical and electronic software experience: EPlan, Solidworks, KICAD, Proteus etc.Experience in panel buildingExperience in microcontroller programming18th edition wiring regulationsMarine experience
