Claims Handler – Emergency Accommodation Services Location: Droitwich Job Type: Full-time, Office-based Salary: £26,728 Hours: 40 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends) We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Claims Handler to join a fast-paced and customer-focused business providing emergency and alternative accommodation services. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach who enjoys helping others and working as part of a close-knit team. You will manage accommodation claims efficiently, ensuring customers receive the support they need when they need it most. Key Responsibilities: Handle claims from initial instruction through to resolution, providing exceptional service throughout. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and clients to coordinate suitable accommodation quickly and effectively. Ensure service level agreements are consistently met and daily claim boards are accurately updated. Contribute to the Out of Hours service on a shared rota. Take part in training and regular performance reviews to continuously improve service delivery. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and remain calm under pressure. IT literate and confident using systems and email.
