This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their treasury career within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.****The Role**Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, you will support the day-to-day operational activities of the Treasury function. You’ll play a key role in managing liquidity, processing payments, maintaining treasury systems, and ensuring accurate reporting across the Group.Working within Arriva’s In-House Bank (IHB), you will contribute to ensuring efficient treasury operations, strong controls, and continuous process improvement.**Key Responsibilities*** Support day-to-day treasury operations including liquidity, funding, FX, payments, forecasting, and reporting* Manage the daily liquidity position, highlighting risks such as overdrafts, funding requirements, and payment needs* Perform bank reconciliations and analyse Treasury transactions within the Treasury Management System (TMS)* Produce and distribute monthly statements for In-House Bank (IHB) counterparties* Process payments via TMS and banking platforms, including BACS, payroll, treasury, and ad-hoc payments* Maintain and administer the TMS, including users, reports, dashboards, and data accuracy* Support all treasury reporting requirements, ensuring outputs are accurate, auditable, and delivered on time* Respond to internal and external treasury queries, including KYC requirements* Support annual compliance programmes and internal control processes* Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting efficiency* Ensure compliance with Arriva Treasury policy and regulatory requirements**What We’re Looking For****Qualifications*** Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline* Studying towards or holding a recognised qualification (e.g. AMCT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA)**Experience*** Minimum 3 years’ experience in treasury or a banking environment* Exposure to cash management, forecasting, and financial analysis**Skills & Knowledge*** Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively* Advanced Excel skills and good MS Office proficiency* Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams* Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Knowledge of ION Reval or similar treasury systems is desirable but not essential**What You’ll Bring*** A proactive and collaborative approach to your work* Strong focus on accuracy, control, and continuous improvement* The ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team* A commitment to developing your treasury knowledge and expertise**Why Arriva?**You’ll be joining a business where treasury plays a strategic role.
