Position Overview
The firm is hiring a Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy residential property team. The role involves providing comprehensive support to fee earners across various residential conveyancing transactions, ensuring smooth progression of cases from initiation to completion.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Assist fee earners in handling residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds
* Prepare legal documents and correspondence
* Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties
* Update and manage case management systems
* Ensure smooth progression of transactions from instruction to completion
* Maintain high standards of client service and communication
Eligibility:
* Experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Secretary in a property team
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Proactive and detail-oriented approach
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
Job Details:
* Opportunity: Conveyancing Assistant
* Stipend/Remuneration: £26,000+ per annum with benefits (37 days leave, private medical insurance, training, progression opportunities)
* Mode: Full-time (On-site)
