We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Stoke and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue team based in Heathcote School. Location: Heathcote SchoolHours: 12.5 hours per week (morning or afternoon) We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. Working closely with your cleaning supervisor, you'll help maintain high standards of cleanliness and create a welcoming space for students and staff. What will you be responsible for? As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in maintaining excellent cleanliness standards throughout the school. Your day-to-day will include: -Cleaning and maintaining all areas including classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal spaces to a high standard -Vacuuming carpeted areas and wet mopping hard floors, ensuring surfaces are spotless -Emptying bins, replenishing consumables such as hand soap and towels, and managing waste disposal correctly -Following COSHH guidelines and health and safety procedures, using appropriate PPE and colour-coded equipment -Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns promptly to your supervisor What are we looking for?
