About the Role
Join our Maintenance Service Centre as an IT Hardware Repair & Configuration Operative, where you'll play a key role in ensuring IT equipment is inspected, repaired, and prepared to the highest standards. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, supporting the full lifecycle of IT hardware.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management: Track and manage all incoming assets, ensuring accurate location records and resolving discrepancies.
Device Processing: Inspect, test, clean, and configure IT equipment including laptops, desktops, screens, handheld and mobile devices.
Ticket Handling: Organise and manage service tickets in the company system, ensuring timely updates.
Hardware Preparation: Prepare new and repaired hardware for deployment.
Workflow Management: Maintain a clean, organised workspace and eliminate backlogs to meet SLAs.
Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams and escalate issues promptly to supervisors.
Continuous Improvement: Support 6S implementation and process improvements across the workshop.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience supporting IT hardware (hardware and software level).
Strong administration and communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications; ITIL experience preferred.
Ability to gain OEM and standard IT accreditations.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise workload.
Flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach.

Holiday Entitlement: 31 days (pro-rata)
