We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team at Skills Centre Plus: Whether you are just beginning your journey into teaching, have subject expertise to share, or are an experienced qualified tutor ready to lead, we have opportunities at all three levels: Level 1 – Entry Role Ideal for those with a genuine interest in education but limited formal experience. You will receive structured mentoring and training while gaining hands-on experience working alongside experienced tutors. This role provides an excellent foundation and progression toward a recognised teaching qualification. Level 2 – Subject specialist with teaching and vocational qualification For applicants with strong subject knowledge or vocational experience who are confident delivering engaging sessions to SEND learners. You will plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that promote personal development, employability, and independence. Level 3 – QTS and Industry Specific Qualification A role for qualified professionals holding QTS, with proven teaching experience. You will lead on curriculum design, mentor junior staff, and contribute to quality assurance and curriculum improvement initiatives, ensuring outstanding learner outcomes and alignment with our accreditation standards. Key Responsibilities (please see individual job descriptions for more detail) Depending on your level, you will: Support and deliver engaging and inclusive learning across vocational, academic, and employability programmes. Prepare and adapt resources to meet learner needs and EHCP outcomes. Monitor and record learner progress, assessment, and attendance, supporting the centres quality assurance processes. Promote positive behaviour, safeguarding, and well-being. Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers, and external partners. Contribute to curriculum development and centre improvement initiatives. Participate in CPD and professional progression pathways. Person Specification Essential: (varies by level please see specific job description) A passion for supporting young people with SEND. Excellent communication and organisation skills. Subject or vocational expertise appropriate to your teaching area. Commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement. Desirable: (varies by level please see specific job description) Willingness to work toward or already holding a recognised teaching qualification.
