SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Horley & Surrounding Areas
We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support specialist schools in and around Horley, including nearby areas such as Reigate, Redhill, and Crawley.
These full-time roles involve supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in dedicated SEN school settings.
Role Details
Location: Horley and surrounding areas (Reigate, Redhill, Crawley)
Hours: Full-time, typically 8:30am – 4:30pm
Start: ASAP / ongoing opportunities
Setting: Specialist SEN schools
Responsibilities
Support pupils with a range of SEN and SEMH needs
Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment
Provide 1:1 or small group support
Help manage behaviour and encourage engagement with learning
Requirements
Previous SEN, SEMH, or behavioural support experience preferred
Experience in schools, care, youth work, or support roles is advantageous
Patient, proactive, and supportive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
