Description
The ER Case Manager works as part of the ER Centralized Case Management Team. This team champions a new approach to case management within the UK through a central expert team to ensure fair and consistent policy application, the best possible associate experience, and high-quality case documentation and recording. As a case manager, you will hear cases directly, acting as a decision maker regarding outcomes and next steps. We handle cases that cannot be resolved informally at the site, including those raised by associates (e.g., grievances, ethics line or executive escalations) and cases of concern about associates (excluding attendance or performance issues), such as investigations, disciplinary actions, and appeals when needed.
You will earn trust by forming strong relationships within our network with customers and stakeholders (legal/external counsel), enabling you to become a trusted advisor in employee relations. You will support and advise your team and customers on complex ER cases, insisting on high standards in case management and all matters related to employee well-being.
Key job responsibilities
* Company Culture Steward: Embody and promote Amazon's Leadership Principles, ensuring dignity and respect in every employee relations interaction.
* Organisational Development and Planning: Align ER priorities with business objectives to drive strategic outcomes.
* Organisational Health: Manage end-to-end employee relations cases of varying complexity, ensuring fair and compliant handling, analyzing ER metrics, reporting insights, and implementing targeted solutions.
* PXT Operations: Use HR systems and data for decision-making, ensuring data accuracy, identifying gaps, and sharing best practices.
* Data and Reporting: Develop case management reporting, identify trends, and create targeted action plans based on data analysis.
* HR Policy and Practices: Maintain legal compliance of HR policies, drive continuous improvement, and partner with PXT to evaluate and implement policy enhancements.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
* Experience managing complex ER cases
* Experience handling multiple disciplinary and grievance cases
* Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level)
Preferred Qualifications
* CIPD qualification
* Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems
