Invicta Health have a Salaried GP opportunity available at St Peters Surgery, with up to 4 - 6 sessions available.
About Us
Invicta Health is a non‑profit company devoted to primary care, operating seven GP practices in Kent.
Responsibilities
* Work with staff in surgery and Invicta Health administration to ensure patients receive the highest standards of care.
* Collaborate with other health and social care providers for safe integrated service.
* Engage with local and national initiatives to improve and coordinate sustainable healthcare provision.
* Provide face‑to‑face, telephone and online consultations, check and sign repeat prescriptions, and manage queries, paperwork and correspondence promptly.
* Make professional autonomous decisions on presenting problems, whether self‑referrals or referrals from other workers.
* Assess health needs and screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
* Develop care plans and provide counselling and health education in line with current disease‑management protocols.
* Maintain accurate records using EMIS clinical systems and complete medical reports as required.
* Coordinate clinical administrative work (results, Docman, reports).
* Support other staff clinically and administratively in achieving QOF and Enhanced Service targets.
* Lead new projects such as video‑linked consultations.
* Support clinical staff in training and educational needs.
* Prescribe according to national and local evidence‑based guidelines.
* Maintain professional standards set by the General Medical Council and local standards.
* Comply with local pathways and clinical care standards.
* Maintain skills and knowledge relevant to primary care, review educational needs and attend relevant events.
* Participate in training, analysis, audit and meetings as appropriate.
* Contribute to data collection and audit of clinical pathways and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
* Medical practitioner whose name is on the GP Register (article 10).
* Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983.
* Qualified GP with completed Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
* Currently on the performers list and not suspended.
* Vocational Training certificate or equivalence.
Experience
* Experience as a GP or locum practitioner in practice.
* Up‑to‑date understanding of modern primary care delivery in urgent care and community settings.
* Knowledge of NHS and clinical environment.
* Ability to manage common medical, surgical and psychiatric emergencies.
* Ability to make appropriate referrals.

St. Peters Surgery, Thanet Community Integrated Hub, Northwood Road, Broadstairs, Kent CT10 2RZ, United Kingdom.
Contract: Permanent, Part‑time.
Salary: £13,202 to £13,846.41 per session.
