My client is seeking an ambitious and motivated Planner to join their Stratford – upon – Avon team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and be eager to contribute to diverse projects. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
2. Conduct site appraisals, planning research, and feasibility studies.
3. Provide planning advice and support to clients and colleagues.
4. Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and other stakeholders.
5. Monitor and respond to changes in planning policy and legislation.
6. Prepare reports, statements, and other documentation for planning applications and appeals.
7. Support senior planners with project management tasks.
Requirements:
8. A degree in Town Planning or a related field.
9. Working towards or already a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
10. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a planning role, ideally within a consultancy or local authority.
11. Good knowledge of UK planning legislation and policies.
12. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
14. Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
15. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
