We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team. The prison houses around 1500 men with a variety of health needs, and within this role, you'll be an integral part of the healthcare team. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.
Responsibilities:
1. Assess and manage patients' mental health needs ongoing.
2. Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner, managing a caseload of patients, assessing their physical, social, and psychological needs, and developing holistic healthcare plans.
3. Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision by providing outstanding evidence-based care, seeking and acting on patient feedback to personalize care.
4. Deliver non-judgemental care, build therapeutic relationships, and promote professional boundaries.
5. Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, following policies and always considering safeguarding.

Candidate Requirements:
* Occupational Therapist or Social Worker - HCPC / NMC Registered
* Experience in mental health settings, with knowledge of this patient group
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment

Position Details:
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, with an annual salary between £42,094 and £47,466, depending on experience.
