Responsibilities of the Dance Teacher: Deliver dynamic and inspiring Dance lessons across Key Stages. Encourage creativity, discipline, and self-expression through movement and choreography. Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and tailored support. Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and school performances. Stay up to date with curriculum developments and innovative teaching strategies in Dance education. Support student well-being and personal growth through the performing arts. Required Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A strong passion for Dance education and performance. Experience teaching Dance at the secondary level (ECTs are encouraged to apply). Ability to design and deliver creative, student-centered lessons. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
