Labcorp is seeking to hire a Supervisor to join the Shipping and Sample Management team at our site in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire Job Responsibilities: Managing, scheduling and coordinating proactively and in conjunction with other groups or departments the daily activities of the group and liaising with other groups, sections and departments as appropriate Assuring appropriate communication within the group, particularly for dissemination of information Understanding and interpreting study plans and identifying problems resulting from the study plan or during study conduct and taking appropriate action Optimizing existing and developing new techniques, methods for study conduct or non-study specific areas and supporting their application Planning, organizing and participating in meetings Ensuring maintenance of instruments and equipment is performed (i.e. maintenance, validation and calibration) Providing support, training and guidance for less experienced staff Minimum Qualifications: No minimum qualifications Additional Job Standards: Extensive logistics / shipping experience or sample management / warehouse experience Prior line management or training experience preferred Computer proficiency, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project) Please note, due to the remote location of this site, there are no public transport links available As a leading contract research organization (CRO), Labcorp provides comprehensive drug development solutions for a range of industries.
