Production Quality Technician
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
1. Following set instructions to assemble various components of the vehicle to the standard stipulated
2. Product appreciation- valuing the quality of parts before assembly
3. Working with all departments to identify route causes of problems and to create robust solutions.
4. To engage and promote continuous improvement activities to effectively support capabilities
5. Working in line with the process and standards required using the Company's on-screen instruction.
6. Checking parts for allocation to work-stations. Preparing and cleaning vehicle chassis before painting.
7. Ensure work is conducted to the required quality standards.
8. Completing all tasks within cycle time.
9. Supporting productivity and process improvement initiatives.
10. Storing controlled substances/components into correct track side location.
11. Maintaining Five S standards in your work area and adhering to company housekeeping processes.
12. Carrying out lean production activities.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
13. Demonstrate a working level understanding of manufacturing processes.
14. Keen attention to detail
15. Audit / Quality background
16. Experience in a similar environment contributing to a team process and organising parts or components for use in assembly and a overall Quality background
17. A team-based approach to work and a willingness to learn.
18. The ability to closely follow a process in a time-bound environment.

Hours of work:
Double Days
Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm Friday 6am to 12 midday
Monday to Thursday 2pm - 1am
Days
Monday to Thursday 6.30am -15.30 Friday 6.30am - 11.30am
Nights
Monday to Friday
Shift may vary depending on Business needs

Volume protection contractual overtime arrangements are in place to ensure required production demands can be met. Stand up and Stand down balances are managed as part of each employees Working Time Account (WTA).
All production employees are required to align with fixed holidays throughout the year in line with production shutdowns. Your annual leave 'floating days' are on a pro-rota basis based on your start date and can be taken outside of those shutdowns.
