This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of pub management experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is looking to grow within a supportive team that values quality, personality, and high standards.
The Role As Assistant Manager, youll be hands-on and involved in all aspects of the pubs daily operations, including: Supporting the General Manager in leading a busy front-of-house team Managing cellar operations, stock levels, and beer line maintenance Ensuring exceptional guest experiences across both bar and dining areas Supporting rota planning, training, and team development Upholding all health & safety and licensing regulations Taking the lead on shifts and being the go-to person when the GM is off-site This is a genuinely food-led pub, so youll need to be comfortable working in tandem with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service from start to finish.
What Were Looking For Minimum 2 years experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a pub setting Strong cellar management knowledge and bar operations experience Confident managing a team in a fast-paced, food-led environment Passionate about hospitality, with a warm and professional approach A calm and organised presence especially during busy service times A keen eye for detail, standards, and smooth service delivery A personal licence would be a bonus, but not essential Whats on Offer £32,000 £36,000 per year (depending on experience) Approx.
