Job Description
3. Category Ownership: Lead procurement for indirect categories such as gifting, packaging, logistics, and event-related supplies.
4. Vendor Management: Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and ethical sourcing.
5. Strategic Sourcing: Drive cost optimization and value creation through competitive sourcing and alternate vendor development.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with CSR, finance, and operations teams to align procurement with campaign and program needs.
7. Market Intelligence: Track trends in gifting and packaging to recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions.
8. Contracting & Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and service agreements ensuring compliance with internal policies and CSR standards.
9. Process & Compliance: Ensure procurement activities follow organizational SOPs and maintain documentation for audits and reporting.
10. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor procurement KPIs, prepare MIS reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
11. Experience: 6-10 years in indirect procurement, preferably in FMCG, retail, or CSR-related domains.
12. Category Expertise: Proven track record in sourcing gifting items, packaging materials, and other non-core categories.
13. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop category strategies, drive cost savings, and manage vendor relationships.
14. Stakeholder Management: Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including finance, CSR, and operations.
15. Ethical & Compliance Focus: Familiarity with procurement policies, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
16. Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data to track KPIs, generate reports, and support decision-making.
