Responsibilities
A Day in the Life:
* Develop meaningful, evidence-based, hierarchical programming based on data, progress, and ongoing assessment of clients.
* Provide ongoing direct and indirect training and supervision to RBTs on your caseload.
* Offer ongoing family guidance necessary for programming success.
* Maintain consistent communication with all treatment team members.
* Collaborate with other service providers outside of Golden Steps.
* Review data regularly and communicate findings to team members.
* Maintain professional boundaries as indicated by the BACB.
* Conduct comprehensive initial intake and recurring assessments.
* Plan for discharge and transition of children on your caseload.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
* Currently a BCBA certified by BACB or scheduled to sit for the exam within one month.
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges with ABA.
* Willingness to undergo a background check.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Reliable transportation, including a car and driver’s license, for client home visits.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
* Bending and squatting for up to an hour daily.
* Perform activities requiring fine and gross motor skills, including kneeling, squatting, sitting on the floor or in chairs, and standing for extended periods.
