Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Sports Graduate who is enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking educational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the physical education department.
Term-time only
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and assisting with regular sports clubs and training sessions with a focus on areas of personal sporting expertise.
* Acting as a lifeguard during ensuring pupil safety during all aquatic activities.
* Helping with the preparation and organisation of sports equipment
* Assisting in the delivery of curriculum-based physical education and games lessons alongside teaching staff.
* On occasion, delivering practical sports lessons to cover staff absence.
* Assisting with the planning and delivery of sports events, as well as supporting the day-to-day administration and operational needs of the sports department.
Requirements
* Degree in sports science or similar
* Experience working in an educational setting is desirable
* Lifeguard qualification
* Ability to deliver outstanding, engaging and fun practical Sport lessons.
* Attainment and maintenance of skills and knowledge/accreditation for the role
* A true passion for sport
