Salary: £36,000 – £44,000 DOE

An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of production equipment and facilities. This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a hands-on role, working across CNC machinery, utilities, and site maintenance.

Role Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Diagnose faults and repair breakdowns across mechanical and electrical systems
Maintain CNC machinery including milling, turning and grinding equipment
Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
Maintain site services including HVAC, compressed air, and general facilities
Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including fault finding and repair
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards and permit systems
Record maintenance activities and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
The Person:
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong mechanical maintenance skills with electrical knowledge
Experience working with CNC machinery and production equipment
Ability to fault find and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of health & safety regulations (PUWER, LOLER, COSHH desirable)
