Advert External Funding Assistant, Outer Hebrides 37 hours per week, Fixed term position of two years £29,311 - £29,600 per annum, inclusive of £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance per annum An External Funding Assistant is sought to provide flexible, efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Comhairle’s externally funded projects, with a particular focus on the delivery of the Islands Growth Deal and Community Regeneration Partnership. This post can be based on any of the islands within the Outer Hebrides. You must have good knowledge of office procedures and computerised systems with the ability to use a wide range of MS Office applications. You will have excellent verbal & written skills. You will have strong numerical skills and be experienced in creating and maintaining spreadsheets and electronic files. The ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team is essential. You must hold a National 5, or equivalent, qualification in both Maths and English and have previous experience in clerical roles. Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.
