Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Psychologist to work in a new ADHD Pathway.
Your role with involve working closely with Advanced Clinicians, Consultant Psychiatrist's and multi-disciplinary teams, to support the screening, triaging and assessment for people referred to the service for ADHD assessments.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve contributing to the screening, triaging and assessment of people referred to the service for ADHD assessment. The post will require someone with a willingness to work alongside colleagues from other professions that form the MDT, whilst representing psychology as a unique contribution to the service. With a positive attitude towards supervision and reflection, you will be well-supported to contribute meaningfully to the clients our service is designed to serve. The role will also involve supporting the evaluation of the service through audits.
