A welcoming SEN secondary school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team from April 2026 to July 2026. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
The SEN Class
*
Small SEN class with 7 pupils
*
Pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech and Language needs, and Autism
*
Supported by 2 dedicated Teaching Assistants
*

The Role
*
Full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, teaching, assessment, and reporting
*
Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
*
Creating a nurturing and structured learning environment
*
Working closely with support staff, SENCo, parents, and external professionals
*
Monitoring progress and effectively implementing EHCP targets
The Ideal Candidate
*
A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in SEN
*
Confident supporting pupils with MLD, Speech and Language needs, and Autism
*
Patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education
*
A strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
