We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join our team from March, with the opportunity to continue onto further projects through to the end of August. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities to ensure the successful delivery of allocated projects.
Role Responsibilities
Plan, manage, monitor, and deliver assigned projects in line with instructions from the Chief Management Team.
Ensure all works comply with Chiel's and the Client's Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
Promote a positive, respectful, and professional attitude towards the Client, Project Team, Site Team, and Subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships.
Communicate effectively with the allocated Project Manager to achieve project objectives and key milestones.
Deputise in the absence of senior staff and undertake any additional reasonable duties requested by the Chiel Senior Management Team.

Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in building, construction, and/or civil engineering roles.
Experience managing site operatives.
Proven ability to identify risks and carry out Risk Assessments.
Understanding of product, safety, health, environmental law, and associated control measures.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to understand and communicate risk assessments to site staff.
Capable of following project programmes and monitoring site progress.
Good understanding of current building regulations.
