QSR / Fast Casual / Multi-Site Franchise Operations

With a highly engaged customer base, a clear operational model, and strong brand identity, the business is now seeking a Senior Area Manager to take responsibility for a strategically important region, overseeing over 70 franchised locations across London and the South.
This is a senior leadership role requiring more than operational excellence. It demands a leader who is strategic, emotionally intelligent, commercially sharp, and people-focused, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders, navigating complexity, and delivering through others at scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Own regional performance and accountability across all key commercial metrics: revenue growth, cost control, labour efficiency, product availability, and customer satisfaction
* Lead with a data-driven approach — analysing performance trends, identifying areas of opportunity, and deploying focused action plans to drive improvement
* Ensure all stores operate to the highest standards of food safety, brand compliance, and customer experience
* Build, manage, and sustain high-impact relationships with multiple franchise partners, acting as a trusted advisor, coach, and challenger
* Support partners with people strategy, local marketing, and operational
* Uphold the brand’s reputation for quality, speed, and service, coaching partners on how to embed these standards into culture and daily routines
* Conduct regular site visits and structured reviews, identifying and resolving
* Coach store and regional leaders to build high-performing teams — focusing on capability, engagement, and succession planning
* Act as a culture carrier, modelling the organisation’s values and setting high expectations for leadership behaviours across the region
The right person
We're looking for a high-calibre operational leader with a track record of success across multi-site retail, foodservice, or franchised businesses, ideally within fast-paced, customer-led sectors.
Required Experience & Attributes:
* Significant experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams or franchise partners in a senior field-based role
* Strong commercial skills, able to interpret P&Ls, performance dashboards, and operational data to make informed decisions
* Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills — able to lead through relationship, credibility, and impact rather than hierarchy
* Confident communicator, skilled in both structured performance conversations and high-trust coaching dialogues
* Resilient, emotionally intelligent, and self-directed — capable of navigating ambiguity and staying focused on outcomes
* A genuine belief in the power of culture, people development, and exceptional customer service to drive business success
