Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor to oversee our hot food operations during the weekends. This role is crucial in ensuring that our counter runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while leading a team of culinary professionals. Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
* Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high-quality food production.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock levels for weekend operations.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with management to develop menus and implement new recipes or cooking techniques as required.
* Address any issues or concerns that arise during service promptly and effectively.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Strong background in food production, preparation, and culinary techniques.
* Excellent team management abilities with a focus on fostering a positive work environment.
