Job Opportunity: Approved Electrician (Motherwell)
Location: Motherwell, covering Southern Scotland sites
Contract Type: Initial 3-month contract (ongoing work available until Dec 2026)
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Approved Electrician to join our team, working across various industrial sites in Southern Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct electrical inspections, testing, fault finding, and remedial works.
* Work on live operational sites such as quarries and concrete plants.
* Interpret site plans and scopes of work.
* Ensure all work meets required standards and is properly certified.
* Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing).
* 18th Edition (BS7671).
* MP Connect card (nice to have).
* Experience working on industrial sites (quarries/plants ideal).
* Strong knowledge of test and inspection in industrial/commercial environments.
* Flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work or overnight stays (accommodation provided).
