Applications are invited from trainee doctors who have completed or are about to finish UK Foundation Programmes or equivalent to apply for the position of Clinical Development Fellow (CDF) in Paediatrics.
This position offers work in the Paediatric department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The CDF posts include 6 hours per week of protected development time and 2 hours of in-house training. The remaining hours involve clinical work in Paediatrics and Neonates, including acute receiving, both in and out of hours. Responsibilities include assessment and treatment of acute paediatric inpatients, neonatal intensive care (Level 2), Postnatal and Labour wards, and Paediatric Day care. Exposure to subspecialty teams such as Diabetes, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Cystic Fibrosis, Allergy, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Neurology, and Neuro disability is also provided.
