Specsavers Newbury is seeking an Optical Assistant. We’re looking for passionate, hardworking individuals with some previous optical experience who can confidently welcome and help customers as they walk through our doors. We offer professional training and development in other business areas, with support from experienced Opticians and Technicians to help you grow in your career.

* Full time – 37.5 hours; part-time would be considered; weekend work is essential

Responsibilities
* Confidently welcome customers and assist with their needs as they visit the store
* Provide effective customer service and support for optical products and services
* Engage with training and development opportunities across business areas
* Collaborate with Opticians and Technicians to support customer journeys
Desirable experience / Qualifications
* Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
* Experience in optics or Audiology business
* Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology
