Responsibilities

1. Participate in all stages of the bid process, from proposal review through to execution.
2. Draft and negotiate both national and international contracts in Technology and Engineering, covering services, nondisclosure, and other related agreements.
3. Provide legal advice and support independently, in line with Group Legal strategy.
4. Manage legal aspects of designated business accounts.
5. Develop extensive knowledge of the organisation's market and foster relationships to ensure legal compliance and support strategic objectives.
6. Acquire a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and their updates.
7. Escalate contractual risks following the Group Contracting Policy.
8. Report any non-contractual legal risks as needed.
9. Ensure effective collaboration and communication with all business partners, stakeholders, and legal team.
10. Work closely with peers on Group Legal initiatives, contract management, and operations.
11. Contribute to the development and delivery of legal training and awareness materials.
12. Mentor Paralegals and Junior Legal Counsels.
13. Individual contributor focusing mainly on local services except for shared services.

Scope & Impact:Significantly contribute to the achievement of business objectives and execute plans to deliver results within own job area with only limited supervisionReview deliverables of team members and provide feedback to enhance the quality of deliverableStakeholder InteractionKey stakeholders include clients, internal delivery/support function teams and external vendorsCommunicate with stakeholders on matters that involve obtaining or providing information on matters of moderate importance to the job area. Explain practices, procedures and policies in order to reach agreement
15. Innovation & Complexity:Analyse operational issues, identify problems and develop plans to overcome the issues, within the scope of the job areaUpdate or modify working methods in own role without the benefit of defined procedures
