We are looking for an energetic lunchtime 1:1 supervisor.

What You’ll Be Doing: Your Impact
This role is about much more than just supervising—it's about ensuring the child feels cared for and has a happy, constructive break.
Eating Champion
- Create a positive atmosphere by assisting the child with food (opening packets, cutting items) and encouraging good table manners and healthy eating.
- Ensure the dining area is ready for service and safely maintained (setting up, clearing spills, wiping down tables).
Playground & Safety Leader
- Actively supervise the pupil in the playground, promoting safe and inclusive games and supporting organised play activities.
- Resolve minor conflicts with patience and fairness, reporting serious incidents promptly.
- Manage indoor/wet play activities when weather requires it.
Welfare & Care
- Act as the first point of contact for minor injuries, referring to a first aider if needed.
- Actively monitor the child with specific dietary needs to ensure their safety.
- Maintain continuous vigilance to ensure all the child remains safe within the school's designated premises.
What We're Looking For: Your Skills & Qualities
- A genuine love for working with children and ability to supervise and engage large groups effectively.
- Exceptional patience, a calm demeanour under pressure, and a positive approach to behaviour management.
- Previous SEND experience would be preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, staff, and parents.
- A reliable team player who can follow instructions and use initiative.
