The Operational Manager will oversee defined sections within the Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering (MPCE) Department, managing clinical, technical, and training support for medical equipment across the Trust. Responsibilities include managing clinical facilities such as Bone Densitometry, Renal, Radiotherapy, Theatres, Critical Care, Medical Device Trainers, and general wards, ensuring operational efficiency and quality standards.
The role requires demonstrating expert knowledge, providing leadership, maintaining professional links across departments, and managing resources cost-effectively. The Manager will also handle policies, resource management, compliance, safety alerts, and develop innovative service solutions. Budget management, staff development, quality improvement, and strategic planning are key components of the role.
