Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work to enrich the lives of people with diverse care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, driven by pride and passion.
Since our inception, we’ve grown to provide innovative and bespoke care services across England and Scotland, based on principles of choice, dignity, and respect. Our vision is ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and are proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care. Recently, we have received numerous awards and recognitions.
Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support. In return, we invest in pay, recognition, wellbeing, and professional development. We provide all necessary training, support, and PPE, and support career development.
We invest annually in our front-line workers’ pay, aligning with the Living Wage increase each April. Starting now and until 31 March, your pay will be £11.94 per hour, increasing to £12.62 from 1 April.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate, and talented Support Workers to support 6 individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their choices, wellbeing, and independence. The role involves 24-hour support including personal care, medication, finances, and community access. The service is over 3 floors with shared facilities, and activities include community outings like swimming, shopping, and walking. The ideal candidates are outgoing, kind, caring, and creative thinkers. We have full or part-time roles with various shift patterns. A driving license is preferred but not essential.
Your values:
We recognize that not everyone has professional experience, and we value individuals’ personal and life experiences. We recruit based on values such as inclusion, delivery, aspiration, respect, and enabling. We look for patience, empathy, compassion, a strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, determination, problem-solving skills, and resilience.
