We're partnering with a leading global biopharma company to find an exceptional Associate Director / Director of Biostatistics to join their world-class Global Biostatistics & Programming team.
This is not your average stats role. As a strategic, high-impact individual contributor, you'll shape the future of clinical development across all phases — with a strong focus on Phase I–III oncology trials. You'll be a key decision-maker in a fast-moving pipeline that’s pushing the boundaries of innovation.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead the biostatistical strategy for cutting-edge oncology and immuno-oncology programs
* Collaborate with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Biomarkers, and Medical Affairs to drive smart, data-informed decisions
* Guide the statistical aspects of clinical trial design, analysis plans, and global regulatory submissions
* Mentor and support Study Statisticians, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables
* Apply advanced methodologies (e.g., Bayesian statistics, survival analysis) to enable innovative trial designs
* Serve as a strategic voice in regulatory interactions and cross-functional teams — all without formal line management duties
What We're Looking For
* PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field
* 10+ years of biostatistics experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, ideally in oncology or immuno-oncology
* Proven ability to lead the stats strategy for global development programs (early through late phase)
* Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, survival models, Bayesian approaches, and clinical trial design
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence without authority and thrive in a global, matrixed environment
