Job Purpose To deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive Business Studies lessons that enable students to develop entrepreneurial, analytical, and financial awareness skills. The Business Teacher will inspire a passion for enterprise, prepare students for academic success at GCSE and beyond, and contribute to the wider life of the school. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Learning Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons at KS4 (GCSE/BTEC) and KS5 (A-Level/BTEC) where applicable. Use a range of teaching methods to inspire, engage, and challenge learners. Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students, including SEN and EAL. Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing feedback to support achievement. Promote high standards of literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking across the curriculum. Curriculum & Assessment Contribute to the development of schemes of work, resources, and assessments for Business Studies. Prepare students for internal and external assessments (GCSE, BTEC, A-Level as appropriate). Monitor student progress and implement interventions where necessary to raise attainment. Classroom & Behaviour Management Establish a safe, positive, and purposeful learning environment. Uphold high expectations of student behaviour in line with school policies.
